Random recents...

As you know, I love Liberty! I was very happy to hear that they have done a limited edition Hello Kitty Liberty Art Fabrics range. I was even more pleased to find some items in the 3 for 2 Christmas offer at Boots and I used my points to pay for the umbrella, shopper and purse!
I'm pleased as punch with this Double Walled Travel Mug. It was reduced from £12 to £4.50 on a one of super sale day in a department store! It's perfect for the cold mornings. I can whip up a brew and put this in the drinks holder in the car! It's much better than carting around a big hefty flask.
The lovely Sparkle Accessories popped by my Lou La La page this week and we decided to do a swapsie. I sent her some Cath Kidston magnetic pegs and she sent me these lovely hair grips!
I decided enough was enough and subscribed to my favourite craft magazine Mollie Makes with the offer to get this new Liberty book free!
The Telegraph had a good offer this weekend with these two craft magazines included. There's lots of new projects I'd like to try.

Lou La La does Vintage

Eek! Today I spent hours with my lovely friend at a Vintage Fair. It was UH-MAZING.
I couldn't resist this set. I especially loved the casserole dish for £4 but I got a super bargain deal on the lot for £7!
I had a massive route through a pile of books and found this for £1!
Inside was an envelope stuffed with REALLY old stamps with half pennies on them! There's some really beautiful Christmas ones from "the good old days".
We made several trips to try on clothes and I bagged this beaut!
I nearly squealed when I found this set of Victorian playing cards! They're decorated so beautifully and only £1. I have a great crafty project that I intend on using these for!

Not entirely sure where the time goes!

This week has been chaos! But, here I am now ready to show you some recent fun things. Some great news is that I (Lou La La) have been accepted to participate in the 2nd Shipley Alternative event. I have been helping out with the marketing too. If you're local, please pop by its a great event with a lovely cafe.
I made a funky magnetic alphabet Peg It! set...
...with some chunky big pegs!
I also made a Learning Countries and Costumes Peg It! set...
...again with chunky pegs...
...and magnetic backing. So the set looks great on a magnetic whiteboard!

My friend and I went to Saltaire Festival to a Vintage Fair. They are really fun and regular events and you can find out about their other events here.

After a good old rummage I found this cute scarf and at a different stall, this broach!

Also, I signed up to take part in The Curiosity Project
I felt so special receiving this Curiosity Box! It's full of utterly beautiful and thoughtful items.
Someone has massive photography talent and creativity in bucket loads!
Thank you so much who ever sent this xx

Latest goss

This morning this landed in my post box from the lovely Misty from Confessions of a Pen Thief. I love your drawing on the envelope Misty and the postcards and notes are wonderful. Thank you!
I was also happy to hear that Juan from South Africa has recieved my parcel. You can find her amazing blog here. I hope you enjoy the magnets Juan and thank you for the mention!
On the arty crafty front I have been making these pretty coasters.
It was also really nice of Sam to post this photo on my Lou La La Facebook page. I absolutely love seeing what people use my pegs for! Such a fab idea x
And just to prove my life isn't just full of letters and crafts, here's a picture of some...PAPERWORK.
But I can't end a post like that haha! One more thing, thanks to Dionne Swift for free tickets we had a great time at the VIP Preview of Art in the Gardens in Sheffield.
The weather was perfect and I felt like I was on holiday!
