Suprises!

I love surprises and surprising people. I spend ages thinking about people's birthday and Christmas presents, what I'll get them, how I'll wrap them, what colour pen to write with, which tape to use...every last detail! I frequently send people cards, packages and little prezzies at other times too, just to brighten their day. To my surprise today I've received a beautifully wrapped present from my brother and sister in law. It's full of wonderful designs and templates and came in very useful today when making Mother's Day cards!

My local craft shop has lovely displays in its windows.

I happen to have these pots too and I'm inspired to do something similar.

 I like organising my crafty bits and pieces!

And, it's got me thinking about some Easter crafts. I like giving out little presents!

I got a bit distracted on Facebook this morning and "liked" lots of crafty people's pages and in the process came across this wonderful site called Pinterest. I am quite particular in organising my art and crafts because I hate mess and trying to find things so the ideas here are brilliant!

Upcycling box frames!

These box frames were initially in a pretty bad state. After a lot of TLC this is how they turned out and they are now for sale in a local gift shop.

My friends little boy says buttons are like treasure and I agree! I will be using these to complete some of my Rainbow Bright canvas pictures!
