Did I mention I love letters?!

A couple of weeks ago I sat down and had a look at some blogs of people who like letter writing, having postcard swaps and finding pen pals. I then made some parcels which I enjoyed very much!
I was really pleased this morning to find that the lovely Kate and Sara of 365 Letters Project have received it and blogged about it too.

This week I made...

I've been at it again, making away! Following the Sponge Tree course I thought more about how I could improve my packaging.
I decided to make these stickers for the front of my magnetic peg packs. I'm happy with the results!
I've also made some gift baskets for my next Craft Fair at Shipley Alternative on Saturday 8th October at the Kirkgate Centre, Shipley. 10am - 3pm It would be great to see you!
Pretty wicker gift baskets trimmed with Cath Kidston ribbon, tissue paper and decorative/magnetic pegs.
Set of 7 magnetic pegs attached to coordinating paper
I've jazzed up my fridge! You can display shopping lists, memos, to do lists, recipes, cards and photo's.
I have had a box full of Christmas cards waiting to be packaged for a while. Pleased to say that they
are now all ready and raring to go!

Wowee, a very big box full! You can see more over at my Facebook page x

This week in pictures

Monday I baked a giant cupcake! I slightly deviated from the recipe on the card...
Tuesday we went to Country Baskets near Leeds where I bought these.
We also had a look around the shops and I bagged a few bargains. Like this £4 cushion!
Wednesday I started packing up the contents of the spare bedroom so we can redecorate. The garage started filling up remarkably quick!
Thursday I went to a Training in Mindfulness course and read some more of my book.
Friday I sat down and wrote lots of letters! I've eventually written back to my pen pal. Then I looked on Blogger and found some other like minded people so I've written to them too.

Of course, with my stationery and craft addictions, they're not just any old letters. They're fabulous bright and colourful letters with lots of little goodies included too!
Today, Saturday, I went to Art in the Pen in Skipton.
On my way there I saw the most amazing rainbow! So I couldn't resist this from Redcurrant Glass
Sunday I am declaring a day of rest...kind of!
But as you can see, I'm liking my holiday.

London trip

If there's one thing to do every summer it's this! Visiting the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition will be a highlight of the summer holidays, that's for sure!
I was super thrilled to see Rob Ryan had two prints on display. Oh the excitement! I looked at the prints and read the quotes, over and over, for quite some time!
I saw this paperweight in Liberty and couldn't resist.
Vintage on Southbank was also great fun...but it was very hot!
I was so lucky to be able to see two shows, having saved up lots of vouchers from Christmas and birthday presents! Phantom was beyond incredible. Absolutely mesmerising and captivating.
Having watched the whole series of Over the Rainbow it was really great to see Danielle Hope as Dorothy. Toto was very good too!
My feet are very achy now!
