Lovely Letters Task 3

I find myself getting distracted very easily at the moment. Like my brain is going very very fast and I'm thinking about lots and lots of things to do, things to prepare, organise, clean, move, throw out...I find the only thing that can help me STOP even if for a while is to do something crafty and check out my fab friends blogs. Luckily in my time of need I saw that Task 3 had been announced for Lovely Letters so I shall do my list now and then it's ready for when I receive task 2's questions. Then I can answer them and whisk off the post to the inspiring Tilly in Australia.

The Skeleton Snot Sundae was actually the nicest ice cream ever! All lemony and limey, zingy! I'd definitely recommend a trip to this diner!



Colours of Autumn

Today we had a trip to Bolton Abbey. I was really mindful of the colours and patterns to be found on our walk and we managed to avoid the rain!

Lovely Letters time again!

General goss!

Hello! How are you all? Today I did lots of house jobs and then had a little rest. My friend is a fish fan and has moved away to Guernsey so I have made her a little fishy parcel to brighten her day because I miss her so! I like making matching presents and cards.

 I've had some of my crafts for sale in Handmade in Bradford over the past few months and today more stock was dropped off in time for those Christmas (yes, it's on its way!) shoppers. There's some photo frame Peg It! kits and some magnetic pegs too.

 I also had another scan and the baby was blowing kisses at us! It was magical. Every day I feel and see lots of movements in my tummy and I feel very blessed.

 Always on the hunt for bargains, I went to a nearly new / second hand baby sale and picked up all these for cheaps!

 Also - I took advantage of the Moo card offer and they arrived today.

Road Trip

This week we took a road trip up to Newcastle. On the way up we stopped off at The Angel of the North which was really incredible!

 

The main purpose of the trip however was to see Disney on Ice!

My favourite bits were anything related to The Lion King and The Little Mermaid!

There were three fun items in my post box today! My first letter from Petrova which was really great to get and I am looking forward to getting to know you more! Your mail from me will arrive on Monday! Also here's the contents of my Lovely Letters (task one) mail - many thanks Tully!

Tully's mail arrived really quickly from Australia! I absolutely love everything inside. I really enjoyed reading the letter. I treasure all the words that people share about themselves and I'm looking forward to continuing with the project with you.   

I was just thinking the other day that I could do with making some funky envelopes so thank you for the map and the storybook envelopes. It's inspired me to make some - I have a template I just need to get on with it!

The washi tape bunting is really really fab! I'm going to hang this over a picture on the wall in the dining room. I'll have to have a go at this project myself with my washi tapes and send you one with my designs hehee! Swapsies!

 In other news - I may have moaned on before about the lack of Washi tapes in the UK! I get a bit giddy when I've ordered some from another country (Japan and USA) via Etsy...

The Etsy packages are always so creative and thoughtful which certianly makes it worth the wait (and also encourages you to shop there more often)!

I'm excited to make some neon stationery! I have lots of ideas in the pipeline. Maybe I shall make some time this weekend amongst the house 'stuff'...all work and no play and all that!

 

Biggest outgoing mail ever is on its way tomorrow!

I think I have excelled myself this time! Thank you for the recent requests to be pen pals and thank you to those who accepted my requests! I am pleased to say that this great big stash will be posted tomo and I'm super excited for them to reach you all! Please let me know when you get them ladies and gentlemen. Here's a sneak preview...

There's 15 parcels here in total! All with a treat or two inside..why? Because I love sending treats!

Lovely Letters Update

I'm glad I saw a post regarding Lovely Letters because I didn't get my email with my partners address on the 01/10/12. I notice there has been other comments left from others in the same position. However, after leaving a comment on the Kitty and Buck page I now have my partners email address so I have made contact to get her address! I'm now on with Task 1 because they're asking it's sent by 09/10/12. I haven't had an email from anyone to get my address for this project yet... I hope the project works because I liked the sound of it and I love new (and old) friends! If you're taking part and would like some packaging ideas etc see here.

UPDATE: I've now swapped addresses with someone who has creative ideas just like me! Can't wait to send the mail on Monday!
