Introducing the Craft Soup Zine - Issue 1 Out Now!

I have joined a group on Facebook called 'Craft Soup' along with lots of Yorkshire based artists, makers and crafters. We decided to make our own Zine which has been very exciting. The Zine includes 'meet the makers' with bios and links to websites, craft tutorials, craft fair and events information and lots of fabulous designs. If you would like a copy Issue 1 is available to purchase now for only £1 and it is sent first class. What a bargain! Please let me know if you would like a copy, I have 9 left! I will be giving away a free copy with any purchase from my Lou La La Facebook Page and my Folksy Shop.

If you're a Yorkshire crafts person let me know and I can add you to the Facebook group. You can keep up to date with all local arts and crafts news and also make some lovely new friends. Spread the soup love!

Cutting and Sticking

I've found a nice chillaxing craft!

And have made some items like these!

Exhibit A!

For the second year running I'm exhibiting my crafts at Cornerstones Art Exhibition. It's open all week, please do call in if you're local! There's a big exhibition hall, a shop full of crafty treats and a cafe for a spot of lunch. You can find out more information here and here.

My favourite painting!

Some of my crafts in the shop.

Fun and fabulous!

Beautiful!

 How cute are these!

Crafty Times

It was really good at the second Shipley Alternative event this weekend.

There's a wonderful group of people working there and lots of people visited.

Here's a couple of pictures of my stall.

There was a letterpress machine so I had a go and made this poster.

Thanks to everyone who came along.

I am also part of a group called Craft Soup which has over 60 local crafters and makers in it now. We have contributed to this *drum roll* our first ever Zine!

In other news, it was nice to receive these two photos of my Peg It! sets in action.

I love seeing what my customers use them for.

And one last thing, I got this wonderful vintage yet pristine typewriter for a bargain price. I am looking forward to typing some letters to my pen pals!

The X Factor is calling so that's all for now folks!
